Changing Project Dimension

Top  Previous  Next

To change project dimension, click Project => Change Project Dimension menu.

ChangeProjectDimension

Click on Preset list box to choose a new dimension as a percentage of a current project dimension or choose Custom to type in the width and height manually.

Check lock aspect ratio to automatically calculate the Height from the current Width value. This way you can make sure that the new dimension has the same aspect ratio as the current dimension. It is strongly advised that you lock the aspect ratio so that the new dimension has the same aspect ratio as the original dimension. A different aspect ratio may produce a distorted image and background image.

Check Resize and reposition all objects to automatically move and resize all objects such as text, callout, image, clip art, etc.

Note

·Callout and text will not be resized. They will only be moved to match the new dimension. The reason is, callout and text size are automatically calculated from the amount of text and the font size.
·Resizing project dimension will not change your published size by much. It is strongly advised that you start with the right project dimension rather than resizing it later on. If you are making a screen capture project, you can set the project dimension to be different than the capture area. Go here for further discussion.
